St George TAFE Library – Mindfulness Activities

IMG_1107Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
Mindfulness is a technique that anyone can practice; and there is lots of evidence supporting the benefits of living mindfully, such as improving your memory and reducing stress to name a few.
St George College Tafe Library is now providing some Mindfulness Activities in the form of puzzles and colouring book for the college community to share and participate within the library. These books include a College Community Sudoku Book, Crossword Book and a Colouring Book with coloured pencils.
